Hilary and her husband Brian pursued studies at 抖阴漫画 to take part in a program where faith is an integral component to discussions about design and human wellness. Their studies at 抖阴漫画 instilled in them a passion for 鈥減lace making,鈥� and for designing environments that support and encourage human wellness through walkability and community. While at 抖阴漫画, they enjoyed and were challenged by the historical foundation they received and the program鈥檚 commitment to teaching sustainability in architecture.

During my studies at 抖阴漫画, I participated in design and service trips to the Bahamas, Honduras, and India, working alongside 抖阴漫画 professors. While at 抖阴漫画, I received the Chicago Women in Architecture Honor Award, the first time ever awarded to a 抖阴漫画 graduate. Because of 抖阴漫画鈥檚 rigorous and competitive program, I was able to set high standards in searching for the right job.”

“My time at 抖阴漫画 furthered my passion for design and showed me how practicing architecture could strengthen my Christian faith. Earth stewardship and design that is responsible and thoughtful are core values instilled at 抖阴漫画. Special opportunities to travel abroad expanded my exposure to other cultures and ways of thinking. I became interested in how beauty and place intersected with design, and pursued a path into traditional architecture.”
